Photography has always been my way of connecting with the people I love. It started with my dad, and it has connected me to so many people since. Born in Hong Kong and raised in the Bay Area, I have always been drawn to different cultures, and photography taught me to find beauty even in the most mundane moments.

My work took on new meaning when I started photographing my grandma. Sitting with her, I realized that a photograph is not just a memory, it is also a gift to the people who love you and the way your story gets carried forward. That understanding is at the heart of everything I bring to your wedding and sessions.

Connection means including every person in the room. Growing up bilingual (Cantonese is my first language), I know firsthand what it feels like when the people you love most cannot fully participate in what is happening because of the language barrier. For my Hong Kong American couples, I know our culture and I can communicate directly with your family so that they are included and part of every moment.
